Mistborn
🌋 The Final Empire — a world remade by divine catastrophe. The prophesied Hero of Ages seized power to become the immortal Lord Ruler. For a thousand years, ashmounts have choked the sky, the sun has burned red, and the mysterious, silver mists have rolled in every night. Noble houses scheme within fortress Keeps, while the skaa toil in fields and mines, their spirits broken by the Steel Ministry and its spike-eyed Inquisitors. Cruel, vast, and ancient, the empire has never been challenged. ⚔️ Supernatural Power Burns. Allomancy — swallowing and burning metals for superhuman abilities — flows through noble bloodlines. Coinshots push steel, Thugs flare pewter, Soothers dampen emotions, and Seekers detect other Allomancers. Far rarer are the legendary Mistborn, who burn all known metals to become living weapons. Alongside them stand the Feruchemists of Terris, storing strength, speed, and memory in metalminds to tap them later at the cost of temporary weakness. 🌫️ Choose Your Path. Play a skaa rebel plotting an impossible overthrow, a noble navigating deadly house politics, a single-metal Misting, or a Mistborn dancing through the night. Infiltrate ballrooms where smiles hide motives, fight in ash-choked streets where coins become ammunition, and escape the blood-soaked crystal mines of the Pits of Hathsin to uncover secrets that could topple an empire. 🗺️ An Empire to Discover. The map starts dark—unexplored by your character. Six initial pinpricks of light guide you: the capital Luthadel, the Pits of Hathsin, River Channerel, Lake Luthadel, the Southern Sea, and the ashmount Kalling. Discover the rest through travel, rumor, and survival as the map fills in dynamically. Features over 40 regions across 10 Dominances, each with a hand-painted map tile. 🏰 Exploration & Depth. Over 40 locations with nearly 150 explorable areas. Luthadel alone features 22 (Keeps, slums, Kredik Shaw's throne room, the Garrison, docks, and rebel basements). Take a canal barge to Austrex, flee to Fadrex City, or sneak past the Conventical of Seran. Every location features fully traversable areas, not just names on a map. 🔥 Character Mechanics. Burn a single metal as a Misting, go full Mistborn with all 10 known metals, play a Terris Feruchemist, or be an ordinary street urchin, scholar, rebel, or soldier. Choose 3 traits (Metallic Art, Background, Social Class) from a pool of 44. Unlock Burn abilities instantly, Flare abilities at skill 10, and Master abilities at skill 18. Over 80 abilities span all three arts (16 metals exist; 10 are known at the start). 👤 NPCs & Factions. Interact with over two dozen illustrated NPCs, including Kelsier’s crew (Vin, Breeze, Ham, Dockson, Clubs, Spook, Marsh), House heads, the Lord Ruler, and ordinary provincial folk. Navigate 11 factions—including five Great Houses, the Steel Ministry, the Inquisition, the Garrison, the Terris Synod, and the Skaa Rebellion. Every faction has its own agenda. ⚡ Quests & Game Modes. Embark on 8 distinct quests: steal atium from secure vaults, escape the Pits, uncover forbidden Keeper lore, or run contraband. Choose from 4 game modes: 🃏 House of Cards for political intrigue 🔒 Crew Job for structured heists 🏚️ Street Level for brutal survival 🔥 Mistborn Rising for high-power metal burning Features 11 unique story starts ("Perhaps you are...") offering massive replayability. 🎒 Grounded Survival. Over 100 items with distinct stat bonuses—metal vials fuel Allomancy, weapons deal damage, armor absorbs it, and tools aid stealth or persuasion. Recover trace metals from food. Near-death doesn't mean instant game over; instead, it demands a price: push through via pewter drag, tap stored Feruchemical health, rely on an ally, or watch the mists close protectively around you. Survival costs, but it is always possible. 🖼️ Visuals & Lore. Over 115 images (world cover, 48 region tiles, 41 locations, 26 portraits). Deepen your knowledge with over two dozen lore entries (Allomancy, Feruchemy, Hemalurgy, the 16 metals, the Mists, and more), dynamically split between public rumors and hidden truths. Based on Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn book series. The mists are rising. Come burn something.
