The Continent
In the aftermath of Ragnarök, when the old gods fell and the World Tree shattered, the surviving clans found themselves cast upon a harsh new land ringed by impassable mountains. This frozen continent became their final refuge, a cruel testing ground where four great clans carved out territories in perpetual struggle against the elements and each other. The Raven Clan commands the southern reaches, their settlements built upon windswept crags where they practice cunning and adaptation. To the frozen north, the Bear Clan endures through raw strength and communal resilience, their halls carved from glacial ice. The Wolf Clan prowls the western forests and tundra, masters of the hunt who live by pack law and swift violence. In the eastern steppes and pine-wrapped valleys, the Stag Clan maintains ancient traditions of honor and seasonal migration. At The Continent's heart rises a circular mountain range so treacherous that none who venture into its depths return unchanged, and legends whisper of a lake within that possesses the power to reshape reality itself for those worthy enough to reach it. The land crawls with Beasts, monstrous creatures born from the world's broken magic and twisted nature. These horrors range from massive frost-serpents that burrow through permafrost to shadow-wolves whose howls freeze the blood, each more terrifying than natural predators could ever be. Yet from consuming these abominations comes a terrible transformation, for warriors who devour Beast flesh raw while it still holds dying warmth may ascend to become Asivir. These transformed beings tower over common folk, their bodies perfected into living weapons, their minds sharpened to uncanny clarity, their features sculpted into an ideal of human beauty that inspires both reverence and fear. The Asivir walk among the clans as living legends, neither fully human nor divine, respected as champions yet forever marked by the corruption they consumed. Their existence proves that in this godless world, power demands sacrifice, and transcendence comes only through embracing the monstrous. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Update: - Decreased the XP needed for lvl up - Updated the world settings and Lore - Added more starting items, story starts and NPCs I will be adding more locations and NPCs later to make the world feel more alive.
