Deity's Adventure in Aerthalon

Be a deity working as an adventurer in the world of Aerthalon. This is a narrative power fantasy. You are unstoppable and you can overcome any challenge and complete any quest. Aerthalon is a richly detailed fantasy realm filled with kingdoms, species, magic, and mystery. I try to optimize this world to get the most out of quests, meaning adventure, long-distance travel, exploration and discovery. Since you are a deity, having health, abilities and skills are meaningless, so they are left out. You'll be mostly adventuring trough the narrative and without any skill checks. This will happen regardless of your difficulty setting. There are no checks even on the highest difficulty setting. You could exclude the deity trait from your character, in which case you are a mortal. === This world is built on a foundation of expansive world lore, including kingdoms, species, cities, and more. With over a dozen unique species and seven distinct kingdoms—each with its own cultures, geography, and politics—players can explore a wide range of environments and challenges. Every adventurer’s path is unique. Quests range from bounties and investigations to curse-breakings and diplomatic missions, and may lead you to places few humans have ever seen. The guild system supports open-ended storytelling and immersive roleplay, allowing you to shape your journey through Aerthalon in your own way. The (major) cities in each kingdom are named in the kingdom's region, but I deliberately left out the unique areas for each city. This way, you can end up in a brand new city (generated by voyage) without any prior definition aside from its kingdom and biome. There is a faction for the adventurer's guild. Other factions may be invented by the AI during gameplay. Whether you're hunting monsters in a volcanic wasteland or negotiating peace among sky-bound islands, the world responds to your choices. The deeper you explore, the more you uncover. === Here are some tips for playing to get the most out of the power fantasy: - Use your imagination to play as a deity. You are powerful enough to shape stars and galaxies - Use telekinesis to move non-animate objects - Use tendrils of light to move animate entities - Summon barriers of light to protect yourself and others - If you want to levitate, I would summon a cage of light and step in, then levitate that - Use healing magic to heal others - Snap your fingers to materialize anything from money to seeds (or to make them disappear) - Use elemental magic for combat and experimentation or convenience - Summon an orb of light to see in the dark What I use less often: - Snap your fingers to summon a portal for direct travel What I avoid entirely: - Time manipulation - Resurrecting the dead
