Ten Thousand Skies, Mk2
The Ten Thousand Islands is a world mostly covered by water, where gigantic monsters called leviathans make ocean travel impossible. Instead, all travel and commerce between island nations is done in the air, whether by rickety biplanes, sleek fighters, or ponderous zeppelins. It is a world beset by sky pirates, defended by ace pilots leading rag-tag air militia, and unbounded by any horizon. Note: Aircraft are represented by special items that are equipped to the "flown" slot. They should provide their own resource called "Aircraft HP", as well as bonuses/penalties to damage and the Piloting skill based on their stats (lighter, more agile planes will provide bonuses to piloting, for example). The AI may need to be reminded that aircraft are special items and should only be equipped when a character is flying them. It may also need to be reminded that a character should be assigned an aircraft when the character gets into one. Note: This system can be used for other vehicles, such as mechs; if someone wants to know how to do it, I can explain how I did it. It's not perfect, but so far it seems to be working. I'll continue to make tweaks as I learn more about this system.
