Salt & Sapphire

🌌 The Salt & Sapphire Expanse The Salt & Sapphire Expanse is a world literally turned inside out. Centuries ago, a perfect creator known as The Maker chose to flip his canvas in a cataclysm called The Great Inversion—violently erupting bottomless chasms into miles-high pillars and collapsing plateaus into salt deserts, leaving behind a beautiful, unfinished masterpiece where physical laws are still wet on the canvas. 🗺️ The Landscape The Shimmering Sands: A brutal, blinding salt desert of towering dunes and highly fortified oases. The Turquoise Fringe: A vibrant, coastal paradise of coral lagoons, bioluminescent mangrove swamps, and cliffside cities. The Skypelago: A completely wild, vertical death-trap of sandstone pillars. It ranges from windswept canopy heights down to the pitch-black, swampy Obsidian Stems and the silent, dead-calm Black Mirror Sea. The Verge: Shifting, randomized border zones separating desert from coast. They alternate between the mathematically logical White Isles (shrouded in mercury haze) and the chaotic, gravity-warped Black Bars (shrouded in obsidian haze). ⚙️ Technology & Transcendence Glass Metallurgy: Society is powered by solar-capturing sea-glass and geothermal salt-batteries. Weapons are forged from glass, grading from fragile common glass to light-absorbing Abyssal Obsidian and humming, micro-vibrating Singer-Glass. Spiritual Pressure: Those who transcend the physical emit a crushing, light-distorting aura that looks like buzzing, transparent static. Zangpakuto: The ultimate masters can manifest their inner personality as a physical sword, releasing its power into a customized Shikai state or a reality-bending Bankai. 🚩 The Three Factions The Mambas (Coastal): A fluid, fiercely independent naval faction operating out of the water-borne metropolis of Great Gecko. The Oasis Overlords (Desert): A rigid, traditional military hierarchy ruling the sands from their carved rock fortress, DuneSpire Stronghold. The Verge-Drifters (Nomadic): Caravan-dwelling smugglers who survive inside the anomalies of the Verge, split between the analytical Mirror Vanguard (White Isles) and the eccentric, chaotic Obsidian Circus (Black Bars). May need improvements cause I'm kind of stoopid :D
