Wings of Fire - War of SandWing Succession

⚔️ This is a roleplaying setting for Wings of Fire. 175 NPCs (71 with portraits) The entire world map of Pyrrhia — all 36 regions with their own map 33 locations with 162 explorable areas Adjusted to Book 1: The Dragonet Prophecy, featuring "The Great War". As lore-accurate as humanly possible, but I'm not god and haven't read the books 20 times over. I'm mostly relying on the Wiki, but am open to corrections. 🐉 15 playable starts, plus Write Your Own. 21 origin characters: the five dragons of destiny, the five replacements the Talons of Peace are quietly training, plus Burn, Blister, Blaze, Smolder, Scarlet, Riptide, Greatness, Deathbringer, Icicle, Umber and Jambu. Every origin has its own start built around what that dragon is, or might be, struggling with. Some of the starts are added as narratively hooking experiences. Every start also works if you bring your own dragon instead. Custom characters are never the afterthought, and you are never forced into the prophecy. ⚙️ Mechanics Five resource bars: health, stamina, satiation, hydration, and soul purity for animus dragons. None of them can kill you, but being starving, exhausted or gorged all change what you're good at. 19 generic combat techniques learned through skill use, plus every tribe's own abilities — and every NPC now actually has their tribe's abilities too. Animus magic costs soul, permanently, and there is no way to get it back. Your dragon won't experience it as loss. Everyone around them will. The war moves on whether you're involved or not. Rumours find you where dragons actually talk, and places look different after something has happened to them. (At least I hope the triggers work) 🛠️ This is a setting I am continuously working on. Maybe if I decide to torture myself and make a second world in a hundred years, but not for this. I might consider starting races and a custom start scenario if there's enough peer-pressure. This is also quite complicated to integrate.
