November First: Masque
๐ญ November First: The Masque Halloween ended at dawn. ๐ The costumes didnโt. โจ At Westbridge University in Los Angeles ๐ด, October 31 began as parties, cosplay, bad decisions, and one very normal Halloween. By midnight, reality had rewritten itself. Costumes became bodies. Props became weapons. Fictional powers worked. Gods, vampires, superheroes, demons, witches, monsters, aliens, magical girls, androids, and stranger things walked the streets. ๐ฟ๐งโโ๏ธ๐ฆธโโ๏ธ๐งโโ๏ธ๐ค Most people changed back by morning. You didnโt have to. ๐ November First: The Masque begins in the aftermath, when the real challenge is not surviving Halloween โ it is living with what came after. Maybe your body changed forever. Maybe only your powers remained. Maybe you woke up human with impossible magic, a tail you cannot hide, a vampireโs hunger, futuristic technology, or the strength to punch through concrete. โก๐ชฝ๐ฉธ๐ฎ And Monday classes still start. ๐โ Go to lectures. Call your parents. Find clothes that fit your new body. Work a shift. Date someone. Hide from cameras. Join a survivor meetup. Test your powers on the Pacific cliffs. Visit hospitals that quietly treat the impossible. ๐๐ฅ๐ฑโค๏ธ Beneath ordinary LA lies an older hidden world of witches, hunters, demons, secret markets, and infernal houses. ๐ฅ๐ฏ๏ธ They are horrified by what Halloween proved: human imagination can create new supernatural beings. Some people want a cure. ๐ Some want to stay changed forever. โจ Some want to recreate the miracle. ๐ Someone caused the Masque. Other people want the method. ๐๏ธ Build a life, uncover the truth, choose what you become โ or ignore the conspiracy and just try to pass your midterms. ๐ Your story can be intimate, heroic, romantic, terrifying, ridiculous, or cosmic. ๐๐ Los Angeles is still here. It just has more monsters now. ๐
