Sumerath Mesopotamian RPG

Update Version 1.0 Added a lot of new places and items as well as NPCs, Alot of this is based on the Epic of Gilgamesh Sumerath is the ancient living land of the Two Rivers — Tigrath the Orderly and Euphrath the Life-Giver. It is a high-fantasy realm steeped in Mesopotamian myth where the memory of the Great Flood still shapes every canal, levee, and ziggurat. Across silt-rich plains, reed marshes, golden deserts, and storm-swept highlands stand the proud city-states of the riverlands: Eridu, Uruk, Lagash, Ur, Nippur, Larsa, and many others. Each is crowned by a towering ziggurat dedicated to the great gods — Enki, Inanna, Enlil, Marduk, Nanna, Utu, Ningirsu, and Ereshkigal. Here, magic is written on clay tablets and spoken in ancient incantations. Oaths sworn on such tablets carry the weight of the gods. Heroes bargain with the dead, priest-kings rule in the name of heaven, and the smallest broken tablet can flood an entire city. The people of Sumerath are as varied as the land itself: Reed Folk of the southern marshes, Lion Folk of the golden plains, Serpent Lords of the delta, Clay-Born golem folk of the Iron Hills, Shadow Kin returned from the underworld, Moon Kin astronomers, Storm Clans of the northern peaks, and many more. The wild places still hold danger. Gallu demons, utukku spirits, giant river serpents, lamastu, pazuzu wind-demons, and older remnants of chaos roam beyond the city walls. In the shadows, the Scaled Covenant secretly schemes to awaken Tiamat’s ancient wrath. This is a world both lived-in and legendary — where ordinary folk, priest-kings, apkallu sages, and wandering adventurers walk the same silt roads between divine politics, blood oaths, sacred marriages, grand festivals, heroic deeds, and the eternal tension between order and chaos.
