Westward: The Oregon Trail
Spring, 1853. Independence, Missouri. The Oregon Trail is not a legend yet. It is mud, hunger, dust, splintered wheels, river crossings, bad decisions, stubborn hope, and graves marked with names already fading in the weather. Players join a wagon company bound for Oregon Country, traveling nearly two thousand miles across prairie, river, desert, and mountain. They may be farmers, widows, scouts, doctors, hired hands, merchants, newlyweds, fugitives, or families desperate for land and a second chance. Every choice matters: what to pack, when to rest, who to trust, whether to take a shortcut, how to handle illness, when to trade, when to push on, and what must be abandoned along the way. This is a grounded historical survival RPG focused on realism, human drama, risk, consequence, and the brutal beauty of the overland trail. **Please note this is a work in progress. Please let me know if you come across anything that I need to fix.
