Chiikawa RPG - Nanka Chiisakute Kawaii Yatsu

A survival/slice-of-life RPG inspired by the cute but dystopian world of Chiikawa! Play as something small and cute or a fearsome monster (that is also cute)! The world of Chiikawa is a colorful land of grassy fields, mysterious forests, enormous food, strange magic, and adorable creatures trying to make a living. Its inhabitants work ordinary jobs, study for certifications, purchase homes and belongings, and relax over delicious meals—but danger is never very far away. Monsters roam beyond the safer settlements, seemingly harmless objects may carry curses, and an ordinary day can suddenly become frightening, wonderful, or completely inexplicable. This word blends cozy slice-of-life stories with absurd comedy, fantasy adventure, workplace struggles, and sudden moments of horror. Beneath its cute appearance are themes of friendship, perseverance, inequality, transformation, vulnerability, and finding small sources of happiness in an unpredictable world. A story might follow a peaceful picnic or a difficult day at work just as easily as a dangerous expedition with lasting consequences. Build a life through work, exploration, relationships, and adventure. Earn money, improve your skills, pass certifications, acquire useful equipment, and become capable of surviving increasingly dangerous places. You might pursue a peaceful working life, become a renowned subjugator, uncover the world’s mysteries, master strange powers, establish a territory, or simply try to enjoy good food with good friends. Your species, traits, choices, and reputation affect how the world responds to you, but no species is restricted to one role. Features: -Take on jobs such as weed pulling, factory work, cooking, deliveries, gathering, shopkeeping, and monster subjugation. -Build friendships, rivalries, and reputations through your own choices and behavior. -Interact with NPCs from the source material and new, generated ones. -Encounter strange food, mysterious objects, witches, monsters, goblins, mimics, and unexplained phenomena. -Experience body swapping, bodily transformation, curses, enchanted objects, and other forms of magic. -Discover enormous meals, unusual treasures, hidden locations, and events that range from comforting to deeply unsettling. -Cuteness! Character customization includes: -3 different species! pick between being a cute Chiikawa, formidable Chimera, or the ambiguous Monster! -Body type -Personality traits -Extra anatomical features like horns, claws, wings, etc. -Various ears and tails -Body and marking colors -Additional cosmetics -Speaking/communication style *Mermaid Island is planned for fuller implementation in a future update. *Starting scenarios are labeled with their intended playable species. You may select a contradictory combination of species and scenario, but these combinations are currently untested and may produce unusual results.
