The world of Malazan is a dark and gritty epic fantasy universe by Steven Erikson and Ian C. Esslemont spanning over 20 books. This open world adventure focuses primarily on the thriving city of Darujhistan, one of the main convergence points in the series. Take the role of a warrior, mage, or everyday nobody and explore the continent of Genabackis. This world is set shortly before Toll the Hounds, but, like much of the source material, the timeline isn't exactly precise.
