Warrior Cats: Shadows Over the Lake
Welcome to the world of Warrior Cats, inspired by Erin Hunter's saga! A world where four Clans of cats live in the wilderness, each of them training, hunting and fighting for their own Clan. Under the watchful guidance and wisdom of StarClan, their ancestors who have joined the stars, they endure. Leaders, Deputies, Medicine Cats, Warriors and Apprentices: every Clan cat is playable, each following their own path in this world. Whether you know the original books or not, if you like cats, you will find this world thrilling. This world will follow the steps of the original books; canon events will likely happen throughout your play. There will be mystery, fighting, prophecies, romance, death and blood, treacherous plans being worked on in the dark. Will you change the story? Or would you rather join it in your own way? --- Tips for a good start: 1. Select the right Premade Story Start if you want to start as a premade character of a certain clan. Due to how Voyage works, its not possible to restrict the selection of any premade to the right clan cat, tho its possible to select a thunderclan cat with a Riverclan Premade Start, the AI will put up an excuse on why you are there, but it might be weird. 2. Select any of the other Story Starts if you plan on making a custom character. 3. If you are new to the books and don't know anything about Warriors, it might be a good idea to start as a Kit! That way you'll have the full experience of discovering everything as new! 4. Be aware of the backstory generation, the AI handling it ignores anything previously selected and might generate a backstory from a different clan. Simply type "Born into Thunderclan" so the backstory knows to not fill it with some "You always lived in Riverclan". --- ### The Story So Far It's been a moon since the Great Journey. The four Clans were forced to move from the old forest they called home, guided by four young cats, one from each Clan, and by a prophecy from StarClan. After a long journey that cost lives, they arrived here at the lake. Each Clan is half-settled into their emerging camps, their borders barely marked, the whole territory still feeling new and unsettling. And not everyone arrived unscathed: Tallstar, WindClan's leader, died on the road β and with his last breath named Onewhisker his successor, passing over his own deputy, Mudclaw. The wound is still fresh. Was this the right call? Is this the place they were meant to be? Some are still doubting, waiting for a sign from StarClan. --- ### πΎ Take up a canon pawprint Step into one of the cats already making choices that will shape every Clan for generations: - **Firestar** β the camp is a hollow he found himself, the territory is unmapped, and his Clan is watching him to see if he believes this was the right call. They want a deputy named. He won't. Not until Graystripe comes home. - **Brambleclaw **β not yet deputy, not quite trusted, already the cat everyone depends on. - **Leafpool **β learning medicine while her heart points somewhere the Warrior Code cannot follow. - **Crowfeather **β carrying grief for Feathertail that has no place in a Clan that didn't know her. - **Hawkfrost **β running his own game behind Leopardstar's trust. - **Tawnypelt **β the only cat who earned her place twice: once at birth, once by choice. - **Onewhisker **β a new leader whose own deputy won't accept him. - Or one of 63 others: Mistyfoot, Mothwing, Squirrelflight, Mudclaw, Stormfur, and more β deputies, medicine cats, elders, apprentices, cats who haven't been forgiven for things they didn't do. --- ### πΏ Arrive as someone new Six starting shapes, each with its own weight: - **Apprentice **β learning a territory your mentor doesn't know either. - **Warrior **β defending borders that aren't agreed on, against Clans you've never trusted. - **Medicine cat** β stripped herb stores, a sick elder, no Moonpool connection yet. - **Kit **β the camp debates are urgent and incomprehensible. The lake is enormous. - **Loner or rogue** β territory that doesn't belong to anyone, if you can hold it. - **Kittypet **β Twolegs have no idea what moves through their garden at night. --- ### π Follow the prophecy β or don't Canon Arc: the major story beats of the New Prophecy saga, The Power of Three and Omen of the Stars, all land on their own schedule as the campaign progresses β Mudclaw's rebellion, Graystripe's disappearance, the three kits whose nature no one suspects yet, and further, darker things that take seasons to arrive. Each event is shaped by what your cat has already done. Firestar receives gentle nudges toward canon choices; nothing is forced. The arc has a destination. Getting there is not guaranteed. Open Territory: no script. The Clans, the politics, the fault lines between them β all live from turn one. No scheduled events, no predetermined ending. The prophecy may never come. Or it starts now, here, with you. --- ### π
