Tokyo Ghoul [🩸Custom Kagune Mod🩸]
🩸Custom Kagune Mod🩸 Tokyo in the Anteiku era, the original series. A ghoul eats human flesh, other ghouls, coffee and water and nothing else, and passes for human because a ghoul looks exactly like one; under the skin it is four to seven times stronger than the average person. The Commission of Counter Ghoul hunts ghouls with weapons cut out of their bodies. Both sides are playable, in the same city, on the same streets. --- STARTING POINTS A Hospital Bed in the 20th Ward Kanou General Hospital has you filed as the survivor of an accident, with a transplant you never agreed to and food that will not stay down. For an Artificial One-Eyed Ghoul. A Job at Anteiku, 20th Ward Yoshimura asked three questions and hired you on the second: coffee, a rota, and a ward that stays docile because this cafe keeps it that way. For either side. The default start. No Backing in the 13th Ward Shibuya raised you and owes you nothing; two gangs hold the ground and no cafe hands any out. For a ghoul. Aogiri's Line, 11th Ward Aogiri Tree took the 11th Ward and everyone left in it, and the overseer on the roll call line has reached your name. For a ghoul. The Ghoul Restaurant's Floor, 7th Ward The Restaurant owns you, and you are what walks out onto the arena floor for the paying gallery. For a ghoul or a Modified Human. A Claim of Your Own, 20th Ward A stretch of the 20th Ward is yours because Anteiku says so, and there are boot prints on its boundary that you did not make. For a ghoul. Posted to the 11th, the Ward Aogiri Broke The Commission posted you to the branch Aogiri has been picking off, with a shelf of case folders that have no name on the spine. For a CCG investigator. The Quiet Ward, 22nd A duty desk in Katsushika between two rivers, and the third missing person from the same three streets since spring. For a CCG investigator. The 20th Stops Being Quiet Ten years without an investigator dying in the 20th, then Kusaba; resources are moving in, and Seidou Takizawa is at the opposite desk. For a CCG investigator. Signed In by the Chairman, 1st Ward You never went through the Academy, Chairman Washuu signed your order himself, and Taishi Fura wants to see you handle a quinque first. For a CCG investigator. Six Weeks Inside Cochlea, 23rd Ward Everything Tokyo takes alive is held under this ward on permanent suppressants, and the second floor manifest has one more name on it than last night. For a CCG investigator. --- THE STORY A day ends when you sleep. The main quest, Ghouls and Doves, runs from the world's window to the end of the manga in 3 chapters: Aogiri Tree's visit to Anteiku and the Commission's assault on Aogiri's 11th Ward base; the hunt for the doctor Kanou six months later; and the Owl Suppression Operation at Anteiku. Each chapter waits for you: when you are ready, its herald on your own side tells you what is coming, and the days that follow move one a night. TLDR; HOW IT WORKS: * 5 canon scenes written for the chapters, each played where it happens or told as news if you are elsewhere. * Save someone canon kills or takes at a turning point and they stay saved: 8 people across the 3 chapters. * 86 side quests, each offered by its own giver where they stand, 66 by a person and 20 by a place, only when you go to them; 26 end with the chapter they belong to, and the rest are standing work. * Every day at Anteiku, 2 of 7 jobs for a ghoul who works there; at any branch office, 2 of 7 cases for an investigator, each at a named place in that ward. * A moment in your first days for each of 77 creator picks. --- TWO SIDES, ONE CITY The Ghoul You start rated C, about equal to an unarmed human in the Commission's reckoning. The ladder above runs B, A, S, SS, SSS. You do not train your rate or choose it: the people hunting you assign it from what they have observed, and it moves when their information moves. The Investigator You start at Rank 3, the rank the Commission gives those it admits without the Training Academy, which is where Arima and Suzuya started; Academy graduates start at Rank 2. Above that sit Rank 1, First Class, Associate Special Class and Special Class. You climb by exterminating ghouls, and every quinque you carry was cut out of one. Ghouls call you a Dove, after the bird on the Commission's seal. --- THE KAGUNE AND RATE MOD TLDR; HOW IT WORKS: * Four kagune types, each released from its own place on the body: ukaku at the shoulder, koukaku below the shoulder blade, rinkaku at the back around the waist, bikaku at the tailbone. * The four make a closed loop: ukaku shoots bikaku down from range, bikaku cuts rinkaku off, rinkaku breaks through koukaku, and koukaku guards against ukaku until ukaku runs out of stamina. * Six rates, SSS down to C, measured against investigators: a B is comparable to a Rank 1 to Rank 3 investigator, an SS needs several Special Class investigators, and the criteria for SSS are unclear, as the wiki says. * A tilde on a rate means the Commission believes you are at least that strong and has not confirmed it. * Rc cells are the biology under it all: a human carries an Rc factor of 200 to 500, a ghoul 1,000 to 8,000. * Kakuja is what repeated cannibalism does to a ghoul who survives it: the kagune mutates and clads the body. * A quinque is a dead ghoul's kakuhou, wired to release on an electrical signal. * Rc suppressants, by syringe, coated bullet or coated quinque, slow regeneration and shut the kagune down, and leave a ghoul as vulnerable as a human. --- THE MAP IS THE REAL TOKYO 24 regions. The 23 numbered wards are Tokyo's 23 real special wards, as the wiki states each one: the 1st is Chiyoda, the 11th Ota, the 13th Shibuya, the 20th Nerima. Each ward was drawn from public domain ward outlines at its real position, its area within 1.2 percent of the real square kilometres at the median, and 1,955 places stand on them, 56 to 121 to a ward: stations, shopping streets, bathhouses, police boxes, river paths, and the lock-up garages and standing noodle counters between them. You cross wards by train; arriving is the hard part, because ground is held. The 24th Ward has no surface at all: it is the labyrinth ghouls dug under Tokyo, every way in is downward, and Aogiri Tree has its roots in it. --- THE WARDS * 1st Ward (Chiyoda): the seat of government and the Commission's Main Office, close to uninhabitable for a ghoul. * 4th Ward (Shinjuku): also close to uninhabitable, and Uta's mask studio is open in it anyway. * 6th Ward (Taito): Shachi's ward, and Orca, the bar its ghouls hold their meetings in. * 7th Ward (Sumida): the Ghoul Restaurant and its dismantling shows. * 11th Ward (Ota): taken by Aogiri Tree, its branch office powerless, compared in canon to a war zone. * 13th Ward (Shibuya): enough bloodshed in its past to frighten ghouls. * 20th Ward (Nerima): Anteiku, Kamii University and Kanou General Hospital; called docile, with ten years between investigator deaths. * 23rd Ward (Edogawa): Cochlea, where every rate from C to SSS is locked up. * 24th Ward: underground, and the worst of them.
