Yggdrasil: Origins

Yggdrasil is a mythic high-fantasy world weaving Japanese, Norse, and Greek legend, centered on a colossal world tree whose roots and branches carry unstable ley-line currents. Ancient rites, bustling settlements, hard-earned crafts, and beautiful strange lands shape daily life. Heroes, monsters, shrines, city-states, sea routes, and warm markets coexist on a grand, moving scale where every action carries weight. Elysium and Yomi-No-Kuni are real afterlives reachable only by the dead. Players may begin as a native of Yggdrasil; an Otherworlder drawn through a rift is a rare variant. Work, craft, warfare, study, trade, survival, community, and difficult choices are all valid paths, and heroes rise through courage, skill, and ties of friendship.
