Kingdom

Enter the age of the Seven Warring States, where kingdoms rise and fall by the sword and a single battlefield can decide the fate of thousands. The world of Kingdom is one of constant war. Qin, Zhao, Wei, Han, Yan, Chu, and Qi struggle for survival and supremacy, while kings, generals, strategists, soldiers, nobles, and assassins pursue ambitions of their own. You begin as one person in this enormous world. Perhaps you're an orphan dreaming of becoming a Great General under the Heavens. Perhaps you're a peasant forced into the army, a noble with political ambitions, a wandering swordsman looking for purpose, or a strategist whose greatest weapon is their mind. You can serve a kingdom, abandon one, switch sides, create your own faction, or rise from complete obscurity. Your story unfolds through the wars of the era. March with an army into enemy territory. Fight in the front lines beside thousands of soldiers. Command a small unit and earn your way toward becoming a commander. Learn from legendary generals. Develop your own fighting style. Build relationships with soldiers who may follow you to their deaths. Or remain behind the battlefield and manipulate events through diplomacy, espionage, and political influence. The great figures of the era are here. Shin, Ei Sei, Ousen, Riboku, Kanki, Moubu, Tou, Yotanwa, and the other major figures of Kingdom exist within the world—but their stories don't have to remain untouched. You can meet them as an ally, rival, subordinate, enemy, or complete stranger. Canon campaigns can unfold as they did in the manga, or your actions can derail them completely. A commander you save might become a future ally. A battle you lose could cost an entire territory. A general you assassinate could change the balance between kingdoms. Your reputation can spread across China—or disappear with your corpse on a battlefield. Combat is dangerous and grounded in the world of Kingdom. Individual warriors can become extraordinary, but armies, formations, terrain, morale, logistics, leadership, and strategy remain decisive. A powerful fighter can turn the tide of a battle, but no warrior is invincible. There is no predetermined role waiting for you. Become a soldier. A cavalryman. A strategist. A commander. A noble. A spy. A wandering warrior. A siege specialist. A political figure. A ruthless warlord. Or something entirely your own. Start during a canon campaign, years before the manga, during an alternate version of history, or in a completely original conflict between the Seven States. The era is already moving. Where you stand when history remembers it is up to you.
