Dispatch
Welcome to the world of Dispatch: A modern America with Superheroes and Villains in it. Be it Superman like aliens or mystic summoners, all exist. But for most Heroes, being a Hero is just another job as they work for SDN, the Superhero Dispatch Network, saving lives and getting paid. This world is canonically set one year after the game, with the good ending. Possible Starts: - SDN Hero: Become a hero for hire. Do jobs from saving stray kittens to battling Kaijus and fight the evil endboss: Budget meetings. - SDN Dispatcher: Dispatch the heroes of SDN. Most dispatchers are former Heroes, or people who have powers not useful for the public, but of course some are normal people. - Independent Hero: You fight for the good of people not for money but because its right, or perhaps because your parents got shot and you got trauma. Whatever the case dishing out justice is not your job, but your calling. - Villain: You have powers but you use them directly for gaining money. Who needs a boring job when one can just blow up a bank with a sneeze? - Recently Awakened: You just got your powers and now have to decide what to do with it. The sandbox opening. - Part of the original Crew: You were there one year ago when the Red Ring attacked Torrace and you are back with the whole crew. All Z-Team members and most support characters are here (and also playable as premade Characters). Beef is present but not playable. You can also make your own character. Gaming Modes: Gaming modes decide how "serious" this is meant to be, from the true and trusted humor and connections vibe of the game to a dark place where powers are more curse than boon. For creation: Your power itself is purely narrative, to set the "strength" choose an appropriate talent rank to give you a mechanical advantage if you want. So come in where the super and the mundane collide. Please tell me if something does not align with the original story, sometimes the ai hallucinates a lot.
