Goblin Slayer [🗡️Custom Rank Tag Mod🗡️]
🗡️ Custom Rank Tag Mod 🗡️ Goblin Slayer is a frontier to live on: register at the Adventurer's Guild, take its paid postings, climb 10 rank tags from Porcelain to Platinum and keep the goblins from becoming a horde, or live another way. The canon runs through Year One, from the spring enrollment to The New Year at the Guild: 6 canon scenes and 10 pieces of news. --- STARTING POINTS Spring Enrollment A spring morning at the Adventurer's Guild of the Frontier Town, in the days of open enrollment: rookies crowd the front desk, the day's quests go up, and somebody is always looking for one more member. The default start. Previous Vocation A spring morning in the Guild's meeting room, where a clerk is stamping the registration of a newcomer who fought for a living before the Guild. For a character of a fighting trade, registered at Obsidian. Write Your Own Write your own opening anywhere in the Frontier Town: the Guild's front desk or its tavern, the Temple of the Earth Mother, the market or the town gate. Any place in the world is yours to choose on the Place screen. Behind the Counter The Guild's back office before the doors open, request cards stacked to be rated. For Guild staff. The Farm at Dawn The farmyard at dawn, a cart to load for town and a day's work ahead. For townsfolk: a farmhand, a smith's apprentice, a tavern hand or a merchant's clerk. The Temple Bell Morning prayer at the Temple of the Earth Mother, and the day's sick at the door. For a servant of the Earth Mother's temple. A Marked Door A marked door behind the general store, and a fixer with two jobs tonight. For a runner of the Rogues Guild. A Candle Below A candle below the old ruins, where the Evil Sect meets in secret. For a cultist of the Sect: a villain's start. --- THE STORY A day ends when you sleep. The main quest, The First Year, follows the year in 3 chapters, each turned by the canon scene that ends it, and its journal says where to be and who to see; Guild Girl at the front desk keeps the board. TLDR; HOW IT WORKS: * 10 canon side stories from the novels, each offered by its own giver where they stand: Warrior, Rookie Warrior, The Boy's Sister, Padfoot Waitress, Cow Girl, Heavy Warrior, Lizard Priest, High Elf Archer and Female Knight. Go to them by name or in plain words; each is open for its days, and if you leave it, canon's outcome stands. * Save the first party and they stay saved: Warrior, Wizard and Fighter. * A personal quest, Where You Came From, for each of 8 Backgrounds, and a moment in your first days for each of 46 other picks. * At the farm, 2 of 7 jobs a day for a willing hand; in the Guild back office, 2 of 7 tasks a day for Guild Staff. --- YOUR PLACE IN THE WORLD The Place screen sets where you stand: 11 places, each with its own work, pay and ranks. TLDR; HOW IT WORKS: * Registered Adventurer: a white porcelain tag, Rank 10, and the Guild's board. * Registered at Obsidian: your fighting trade counts: Obsidian, Rank 9, and 750 experience. * Hero of the Frontier: a Porcelain adventurer who answers the Guild's calls. * Guild Staff: rate the day's 3 requests honest, low or high in a 3 turn shift, 8 bronze a day; a request rated low may cost its party. Ranks: Receptionist 10, Inspector 30 (Sense Lie), Examiner 60. * Townsfolk (Farmhand, Smith's Apprentice, Tavern Hand, Merchant's Clerk): a 3 turn shift and one problem a day, by the book for 8 bronze or bent for a 5 tip or a docked day, one in two. Rent 60 every 30 days. Ranks: A Stall 10, A Shop 30, A Name on the Street 60. * Temple Servant: a shift at the Earth Mother's temple for 8 bronze in donations, and the goddess's handout each season. Ranks: Sister or Brother 10 (Purify), Priest of the Temple 30 (Sanctuary), Mother or Father Superior 60 (Call God). * Rogue: every 2 days the fixer offers two of 4 jobs, paying 23 safe and 50 risky at Porcelain up to 405 and 891. A risky job adds 2 heat, falling a step every 3 days; at 15 heat the Guild bans you if you hold a tag. Ranks: Trusted Runner 10, The Fixer's Own 25. * Evil Sect Cultist: a villain's place. Every 2 days the voice offers two of 6 tasks, each pushing Chaos a step (the sacrifice 3, and the hunt for the cult 3); at hunt 6 a search party silences the voice. Ranks: Acolyte of Chaos 10, Priest of the Sect 30. --- THE GUILD BOARD The front desk posts a safe and a risky posting a day for your tag and the one below it, and a goblin posting most days. You hold one at a time; the fee is split at least 4 ways, a share to each member who goes. A risky posting is NOT VERIFIED BY THE GUILD, and one in 3 hides a lie: a bigger nest, a danger the posting did not name, or a short purse. When it shows, report it for a quarter of the fee or see it through for the next tag's risky fee. A fall before the desk pays loses the proof. A posting left late, or dropped when its client told the truth, pays nothing and costs your count and the village's gratitude; 3 lapses in a season freeze promotion for 30 days. Postings are written for 3 tags: Porcelain, Obsidian and Steel. TLDR; HOW IT WORKS: * Fees in bronze, safe or risky, for a party of 4: * Porcelain (40 experience): the sewers 40 or 100, goblins 100 or 240, deliveries 70 or 160. * Obsidian (60 experience): the sewers 60 or 150, goblins 160 or 400, monster hunts 240 or 560. * Steel (100 experience): goblins 260 or 640, monster hunts 400 or 960, escorts 500 or 1,100. * The Guild's call, every tag, while a horde gathers: 100 a goblin head. --- THE RANK TAGS 10 tags, Porcelain to Platinum. Meet every gate and the Guild offers a review in its meeting room, where the Inspector's Sense Lie catches a false claim (the review fails) or a find kept from the party's split (you lose a tag). A failed review waits 30 days. Postings and days count at the tag you hold. TLDR; HOW IT WORKS: * Obsidian: level 3, 5 postings, 14 days. * Steel: level 6, 8 postings, 30 days. * Sapphire: level 10, 10 postings, 45 days. * Emerald: level 14, 12 postings, 60 days. * Ruby: level 18, 14 postings, 75 days. * Bronze: level 22, 16 postings, 90 days. * Silver: level 27, 20 postings, 120 days. * Gold: level 34, 25 postings, 180 days, and a royal request. * Platinum: level 42, 365 days, and a dragon slain. --- THE GOBLIN FRONT Three fronts run from 0 to 20 on their own: the goblins a step every 3 days (6 in winter, 2 more at harvest), Chaos every 7 days, the roads every 2 days. Each changes the frontier at 6, 12 and 18. TLDR; HOW IT WORKS: * Goblins: a raided village (a risky rescue); a war band (every risky client lies); a horde (the Guild's call, until it breaks 3 days on). * Chaos: armed goblins; a ritual site rumoured; a summoning stopped far off, Chaos back to 6. * Roads: a third posting, escorts a quarter more; a bandit gang (Steel work); the caravans stop. * A goblin posting done pushes the goblins back 2 (3 risky), an escort or the gang the roads back 2; a goblin posting left untaken pushes them up a step every 2 days. --- SPELLS AND MIRACLES 56 spells, miracles, dragon arts and spirit arts: 19 for sorcerers, 16 for priests, 8 for dragon priests and 13 for shamans. TLDR; HOW IT WORKS: * A Porcelain caster casts once a day (Blessed, 2 more); any cast spends one use, and a night's rest restores them. * Each new circle adds a use a day: second at Emerald, third at Bronze, fourth at Silver, fifth at Gold, sixth at Platinum. Promotions grant spells of your class. --- CHARACTER CREATION 9 screens: Race 10, Origin 32, Class 8, Second Class 8, Faith 8, Place 11, Gift 4, Drive 8, Background 8; or 7 premade characters. TLDR; HOW IT WORKS: * Health 50, 8 a level, 4 a point of endurance; 7 attributes: strength, psyche, technique, intelligence, focus, endurance, reflex. * Every 7 days your Drive finds something in the Guild tavern that answers it. --- YOUR PARTY Lise Arden, Pip Thistlewick and Tobin Ashby, 3 original characters, can be asked into your party of up to 6, and every companion acts in every fight from the first turn. TLDR; HOW IT WORKS: * In a declared spar nobody dies: the killing blow knocks down instead. * A Healing Potion restores a fifth of your maximum health, one a turn. --- RELATIONSHIPS AND THE GOBLIN YOU SPARED Everyone you meet keeps a standing with you on 11 stages, Nemesis to Devoted. A cleared nest's goblin children are yours to kill or let go, and one let go comes back 90 days later, a hobgoblin that knows you, in the wild; the roads talk of it 10 days before. --- THE STANDARD PACKAGE TLDR; HOW IT WORKS: * Combat: the world rolls companions' blows and applies each once. * Continuity: people act only on what they could know, the narrator never writes your words or choices, and a quiet scene stays quiet; 10 systems have their own switch. * Portraits: art direction in White Fox's anime style, 33 characters drawn. --- YEAR ONE Canon's year comes on its days whether you are there or not, and word of each scene reaches you once. 6 scenes, each with 3 ways in: Back from the First Cave, Three Strangers Ask for Orcbolg, Back from the Elf-Border Ruins, The Goblin Lord's Horde, The Harvest Festival and The New Year at the Guild. TLDR; HOW IT WORKS: * 10 pieces of news between them, and 6 eras that change what the world knows. * 3 Guild calls for every tag, each paying 30 bronze and 40 experience; the Goblin Lord's horde comes as the emergency call, 100 a head. --- DIFFICULTY Story, Normal, Hard and The Dice of the Gods. --- CONTENT 32 named people (22 of them met only when the story brings them in), 15 places with 50 areas in 1 region, 67 abilities, 12 skills and 17 item types.
