Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World

This is the world of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Only Pokémon inhabit this world — no humans, no Poké Balls, no Trainers. Pokémon speak, form societies, run businesses, and explore the mysterious ever-shifting labyrinths called Mystery Dungeons scattered across the world's continents. The player character is a Pokémon who has lost all memory of their past. Depending on their origin, they may have washed ashore on a beach, arrived through a dimensional gate, appeared in a village, or simply woken up somewhere unfamiliar with no explanation. What they carry — their personality, their instincts, their capacity to form bonds — is intact even when their memory is not. The world spans multiple continents: Grass Continent, Air Continent, Mist Continent, Water Continent, and Sand Continent. Each has its own towns, guilds, dungeons, and cultures. Explorer guilds operate across all continents, sharing mission records and rank recognition. The Wigglytuff Guild in Treasure Town on Grass Continent is the most prominent. Mystery Dungeons are the heart of exploration: labyrinthine structures that generate new floor layouts on every visit, filled with hostile wild Pokémon, traps, items, and a staircase on every floor leading deeper. Fainting in a dungeon ejects the team and costs most of their carried items and half their Poké. The world has faced multiple crises across its history. A meteor once threatened total annihilation. Time itself collapsed in an alternate future, creating a temporal crisis that rippled into the present. A force of crystallized despair called the Bittercold threatened to freeze all existence. A petrification phenomenon turned living Pokémon to stone across every continent. In each case, a small team of ordinary Pokémon was the deciding factor.
