Carry out the Devil King’s orders, compete with other commanders, negotiate with enemies, pursue personal ambitions, or reconsider your allegiance. 📋 Guild Receptionist in Axel Begin as salaried staff behind the Adventurer Guild’s counter in Axel, working under Luna on registrations, quest slips, damage claims, and a wage that never covers the month. 🧪 Shop Assistant at Wiz’s Shop Begin as the only paid help at Wiz’s Shop, a magic-item store perpetually one bad purchase from closing, where the stock is defective, the rent is late, and the owner apologises for both. 🔮 Crimson Demon Clan Member Begin in the Crimson Demon Village as a red-eyed clan member with advanced magic as an everyday skill, a name you chose for yourself, and neighbours who treat every errand as a legend. 🗺️ Veteran Adventurer from the Capital Begin as an experienced adventurer transferring into Axel from the Royal Capital, opening well above beginner rank, with a record, a debt, or a reason to be somewhere quieter. 🛡️ Sworn Knight of Belzerg Begin as a commissioned knight of Belzerg in the capital’s Military Quarter, ordered out to the Axel frontier with training, equipment, rank, and superiors who expect results. --- ADVENTURER CARD PROGRESSION UPDATE The Adventurer Card is now a fully functional progression system instead of just background lore. Leveling & Skill Points Every time you gain a level, you receive 1 Skill Point. Skill Points are permanently banked until you spend them. Choosing a class gives you 1 additional Skill Point. Your starting Skill Points also depend on your chosen Natural Aptitude. Your Adventurer Card now tracks: Level Class Unspent Skill Points Learned skills Skills available from your class Skills you have been taught Skill mastery/improvements You can check it at any time by saying something like: I check my Adventurer Card. Learning Skills Each class has its own list of skills with individual Skill Point costs. To learn an available skill, say: I use my Adventurer Card to learn Steal. The required Skill Points will be deducted and the skill will be permanently learned. Skills can also be improved after learning them: I use my Adventurer Card to improve Steal. Transferable skills can be improved through three additional mastery levels. Adventurer Class The Adventurer class can learn skills from other people, similar to Kazuma. However, simply watching someone use a skill is not enough. To unlock another person's skill: The character must actually know the skill. They must demonstrate it. They must deliberately teach you how to use it. The skill being taught must be clearly identified. Once this happens, your Adventurer Card records the skill as learnable. You must still spend Skill Points afterward to actually acquire it. --- This is my first attempt at porting my AI Dungeon scenario “KonoSuba!” into Voyage, as well as my first Voyage world.
